Since its inception, the IHCF has impacted the lives of over 14 million children. Since its founding in India, IHCF has been at the forefront of nutrition, healthcare, defence, education, and emergency response, reshaping the lives of millions of children. 

We agree that every child deserves the best possible opportunity at a bright future, which is why we are dedicated to ensuring that children not only survive, but thrive. We do whatever it takes to save the girls, with a bold determination and a strong vigilance.

IHCF works on the ground in India and around the world, every day and particularly during times of crisis. Our ground-breaking services cater to children’s specific needs, providing them with a healthy start, opportunities to learn, and security from damage. We are often among the first to respond and the last to leave when a crisis occurs. We are the vocal advocates for children, ensuring that their voices are heard and that their concerns are prioritised. We take on the toughest challenges, facing the hardest-to-reach children – particularly those who are disproportionately excluded from the world’s growth – by drawing on a century of leading expertise. We are proud to be the world’s leading authority on youth, with millions of vulnerable girls and boys benefiting from our work. We change the lives of our world’s children and the future we share by saving them. Although we run a number of programmes in India, we also collaborate with a number of government agencies, civil society groups, and communities on five main themes: health and nutrition, education, child protection, humanitarian response, disaster risk reduction, and child poverty.
